Mr. Sarther concentrates his practice on civil litigation. He is admitted to the State Bar of Illinois and United States Court for the Northern District of Illinois. His areas of expertise include workers’ compensation defense, commercial insurance defense, casualty insurance defense, commercial litigation and insurance coverage.
Mr. Sarther graduated from DePaul University College of Law in 2010 after receiving his BA in Social Sciences from Michigan State University in 2006. While in law school, he was an editor for the Journal of Sports Law and Contemporary Problems.
Mr. Sarther represents clients in a wide variety of civil cases and workers’ compensation claims throughout Illinois. He has tried multiple workers’ compensation claims and argued before the Appellate Court of Illinois - Workers’ Compensation Division. Mr. Sarther has previous public sector experience working in the Chicago Park District’s Law Department, where he tried a jury case to verdict. He also worked for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office in the Felony Trial Division and Public Corruption and Financial Crimes Division, where he had the opportunity to try multiple bench trials and jury trials with an Illinois Supreme Court Rule 711 License.
